Collaborating for Conservation
The Friends of Frontenac Park is an incorporated charitable volunteer organization which works in co-operation with Ontario Parks to supplement and enhance the educational, recreational, research and resource protection programs of Frontenac Provincial Park. The Friends’ projects and programs are coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors, working closely with active members and park staff.
By creating programs and materials that promote public awareness and education, The Friends help others understand and appreciate the park’s natural and cultural heritage.
The Friends organize and plan activities and projects that allow members and visitors of any age to return a favour to the park in time, effort, sharing and concern.
