Italy vs Argentina: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h for Finalissima
In what is just the third ever edition of the CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions, Italy face Argentina on Wednesday night at Wembley.
The 2022 Finalissima has been organised as a result of a renewed partnership between the two confederations and brings winners of the 2020 European Championship up against the 2021 Copa America champions.
On their last visit to Wembley, Italy beat England on penalties in the final to win the Euros, though since then they were stunned by North Macedonia as they failed to qualify for the World Cup later this year.
Argentina secured their Finalissima place by beating Brazil 1-0 last summer to end a 28-year trophy drought.
There will be no extra-time should the match finish level after 90 minutes, meaning it will go straight to penalties if necessary.
Date, kick-off time and venue
The Finalissima is scheduled for a 7.45pm BST kick-off time on Wednesday June 1, 2022.
Wembley Stadium in London will host.

Tottenham’s Cristian Romero missed the final three matches of the club season but he is expected to be available.
Italy vs Argentina prediction
Italy will have good memories from their last visit to Wembley and will be desperate to send Chiellini out on a high.
Roberto Mancini’s side are often involved in low-scoring matches while Argentina have been incredibly impressive at the back over the last couple of years.
In a match likely to be tight throughout, the individual brilliance from the likes of Messi and Di Maria may prove to be the difference.
Argentina to win, 1-0.
