InphoThe Munster squad are continuing preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s final game of the United Rugby Championship regular season against Leinster in Dublin (7.15pm, live on TG4).

Leinster thumped Toulouse 40-17 last Saturday to reach the Champions Cup final, where they will face La Rochelle. The hosts have back-to-back wins over the current Top 14 champions and this season’s Premiership leaders after beating Leicester the week before but they are riding a two-match losing streak in the United Rugby Championship after a tough tour of South Africa. Travelling Munster lost on penalties to Toulouse two weeks ago in the Champions Cup and they sat out last week whilst their rivals beat the reigning champions. The visitors had previously enjoyed a three-match winning streak including an impressive victory away at Ulster and they are a serious threat to the leaders on Saturday. Backing Leinster to edge this, or better yet handing them a +2 head-start, looks the more sensible way to lean here.

Munster Head Coach Johann van Graan and Thomas Ahern spoke to the media this week ahead of Saturday night’s URC round 18 clash against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium (7.15pm, live on TG4).
