Introduction to Backcountry Camping

Come join Don Stables and Jérôme McDuff, avid backcountry campers, who will share with you the knowledge and expertise they have acquired over their many years of enjoying this outdoor activity. Topics will include: how to get started, clothing, footwear, equipment, food, water treatment and safety in the outdoors. They will also have on display their wide array of backcountry camping gear they use for the different seasons. Don't miss out! There is no cost for the actual course however you will need to pay for the Daily Vehicle Permit.
