About the Event
The Challenge begins 1 September and runs till 31 October of each year. Participants must hike a specific number of trails depending on the Challenge they choose. We have the Junior Challenge which is geared for children 12 years or younger, they must hike 6 trails of their choice. We have the Trek which is for anyone who wishes to hike only 6 trails however note that Doe Lake and Arab Gorge are excluded. Finally we have the Full Challenge where the participant must hike all 11 Trails. Volunteers install clues on the trails just a few days prior to the challenge and as you hike the trails you must track the clues. You register at the Park office where you will be given a pamphlet onto where you can keep track of the clues.
