About the Event
As a park volunteer and skills instructor, Erhard Frenzl touched the heart of everyone he met. He was an enthusiastic teacher and outdoors person whose love of Frontenac Provincial Park was contagious. He was remarkably kind and generous with his knowledge about the park and loved to teach its visitors about the woods and water around them. Erhard served on the FoF board of directors for many years.
Tragically he died in 2013 while paddling on Lake Superior.
For 2023, we will be conducting a group hike on Sunday June 25. We will meet at the Big Salmon parking lot for 10AM. Don’t forget to go to the Ontario Parks website five days in advance to get your parking permit. Your hike leader Louise, drives a turquoise Jeep Renegade.
